A Vision Born from Experience
Developed under Dumba Motor Group’s 2023 digital expansion, BusRank is positioned as Africa’s largest mobility and instant delivery startup. It allows users to book taxis, buses, rentals, shared rides, and deliveries in one seamless experience.
Inspired by Botswana’s cultural term “bus rank” (public transport hub), the app becomes a virtual hub at your fingertips. Available on Android and iOS, it integrates with Dumba’s car rental fleet, offering real-time booking, instant delivery, and commuter-focused servicesmaking travel across Africa faster, safer, and smarter.

Solly KM Nthomang
Solly KM Nthomang (also known as Solly Kala Maduo Nthomang or Solly KM Cannon) is a Botswana-based entrepreneur and the founder & Group CEO of Dumba Motor Group (Pty) Ltd. Operating from Gaborone, he is recognized for transforming the transportation sector in Botswana.
In September 2020, he identified a gap in affordable and reliable vehicle rental services. This led to the birth of Dumba, a family-owned business built on exceptional customer service and accessibility. Under his leadership, Dumba has grown into the largest independent car rental firm in Botswana while also expanding into ride-sharing and mobility services.
Nthomang’s entrepreneurial journey has been featured in interviews, where he highlights challenges like bootstrapping and navigating Africa’s competitive car rental landscape.
His impact is recognized through FOYA nominations (2023 & 2024) under the “Founder of the Year Over 30” category, and awards from the U.S. Embassy for excellence in service. In 2025, he continues to lead innovation by integrating app-based mobility solutions across Africa.
